Dr. Eng. Pandji Prawisudha, S.T., M.T.

Short Biography

Pandji Prawisudha started his research in low-rank coal upgrading technology since 2000, shifting his research to biomass upgrading from 2005. He pursued his doctoral degree from the Department of Environmental Science and Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, for another research expansion to municipal solid waste (MSW) upgrading technology, and subsequently worked as Assistant Professor in the same department for two years before returning to ITB. Currently serving as Head of Thermodynamics Laboratory at the Center of Industrial Engineering and Coordinator of Research and Innovation at Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, his researches are focusing in the conversion of biomass and MSW by means of carbonization, gasification, and pyrolysis, to produce an economical and environmentally-friendly fuel from sustainable resources.
